Mother Teresa's Anyway Poem
"People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway"
Forgive them anyway.

“Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher.”
Who do you have on speed dial?
Take a look at the last 5 or 6 people you called. Who are they? Are they positive people, or do they bring you down?
Are they a source of stress relief…or stress?
You may not have considered this before, but who you talk to the most says a lot about you and demonstrates your likelihood of achieving your goals.
Who do you speak with most?
If the people you talk to most are negative, judgmental, and fractious, you will get caught up in their negativity. People who complain about the economy or say they never get a “lucky break” are not the kind of people you want to be around, because they will lower you to their level.
If the people you talk to most are uplifting, caring, success-minded individuals who are ahead of you rather than behind you, then you will move yourself upward by “hanging out” or talking with them. These are the ones who see the goodness hiding within challenges and see the best in others even when they’re not on their best behavior.
Who and what influences you?
Same as before, whether they are uplifting or downgrading influences makes a huge difference.
1.Walk away from gossip. Never participate.
2.Do everything in your power to stop listening to those who bring you down.
3.Stop watching, reading or listening to the news, which is so full of negativity (and so far from the truth)
Catch yourself going down a road of negativity and change your direction immediately!
4.Get in touch with your true purpose in life and let that be your compass.
5.realize that you truly are a gift to the world who deserves to be loved and cherished simply because you are here on this earth!

Are you a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime? « Life Lessons
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.When you figure out which one it is,you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.They have come to assist you through a difficulty;to provide you with guidance and support;to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.They may seem like a godsend, and they are.They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.They may teach you something you have never done.They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
